C.I. doesn't like apostrophes (') in PMs. Full stop.

To get around this without loads of ///'s in your PMs, use ` instead of '. If you get the drift.

On a UK keyboard ` is right under the Esc key. A genuine ' (apostrophe) being two keys left of the return/enter key.

If you don`t understand what the hell this is all about. You can do any of the following:

a) Try it for out yourself
b) Stumble around until you find the correct key
c) Plead ignorance and don't bother punctuating at all
d) See step C

Hey barbarossa,

what landlubber means is that, because of the coding, whenever you use an apostrophe in a sentence, a slash is added to your PMs. And an extra one if you send the PM back. So you may well end up receiving a pm that has 5 backslashes in a very word featuring an apostrophe. Wink

I don't know if there is any way to circumnavigate this problem directly inside the code - I do recall having asked our programmer about this before. (but I will check again)

So long as there is no way to prevent this from happening, using an accent in place of an apostrophe is one solution.

Cheers,

The apostrophe problem has been solved Smile.

No need avoiding that pesky little symbol anymore, when sending IGM's, our programmer has fixed that bug.

Enjoy using it as much as possible!

Cheers,
